Show full item recordAbstract:
Alcathoe Whiskered Bat was described only relatively
recently (2001) so its range is poorly known. It has been recorded
in dense deciduous forests with watercourses, which have not been
under forestry practice for centuries. Summer roosts were recorded
in tree crevices and under bark, while caves are probably used for
hibernation. Only a single male was ringed at river Miloševka and
there is no recovery record.
