To obtain composite Impatiens walleriana plants carrying GUS and pac1 genes, ex vitro Agrobacterium timefaciens and Agrobacteriium rhizogenes genetic transformation was examined. Inoculated plants exhibited better growth and root formation compared to the control. Transformation efficiency was examined by PCR analysis. Despite inoculated plants exhibited rooting presence of GUS and pac1 genes was not confirmed.
