Habitat of Long-fingered Bat obligatorily includes large
waterbodies in karst areas. This species is considered a regional
migrant, mostly travelling 40-50 km between summer and winter
roosts. Since 1970 there were 357 ringed bats (236 in western
Serbia and 121 in eastern Serbia). There were 6 loco records. The
only observed movement was of a male bat travelling 41 km from
the summer roost in Lazareva Pećina cave to the winter roost in
Toplik cave.
