dc.description.abstract | Daubenton’s Bat depends on combination of waterbodies and broadleaf forests. Maternity colonies are situated in tree hollows, artificial bat houses and crevices in bridges. Hibernation colonies are in tree hollows, rock crevices and rarely underground. This species is a facultative migrant, travelling 100- 150 km between summer and winter roosts. Since 1971 there were 184 ringed bats, with 19 loco records. | sr |
