AB - The aim of this work is to assess ecological status of two types of watercourses in the area of Belgrade. The investigations have been performed on two sites on the Danube (Batajnica and Vinča), Sava (Zabran and Makiš) – type 1 and Kolubara Rivers (Ušće and Ćelije) – type 2. Based on the studied macroinvertebrate community parameters, ecological status of investigated rivers could be assessed as poor (IV class). Physico-chemical parameters revealed better status, which indicates that hydromorphological pressures significantly influence state of water bodies within territory of Belgrade.

AB - The aim of this study was to assess the ecological status of three reservoirs situated in suburban area of Belgrade (the Bela Reka in Ripanj, the Pariguz in Resnik and the Duboki Potok in Barajevo), based on macroinvertebrate assemblages. All reservoirs are under high anthropogenic influence, such as communal waste water discharges from surrounding settlements, fishing and other recreational activities. Previous investigations of macroinvertebrate assemblages from these reservoirs were carried out in 2012. For the ecological status assessment following indices were used: Total number of taxa, Diversity Index (H'), Saprobic Index (SI), Biological Monitoring Working Party (BMWP) and Average Score Per Taxon (ASPT). Samples were collected during August 2015, using hand net with mesh diameter 500 μm (multihabitat sampling procedure). Majority of organisms were identified to species level. Among 40 taxa recorded in total, indicators of moderate organic pressure (β-mesosaprobic species) were the most dominant. The Duboki Potok Reservoir was the site with the highest number of recorded taxa (23), and the highest diversity (2.13), followed by the Bela Reka with 18 taxa and diversity index of 1.69 and the Pariguz with 13 taxa identified and diversity index of 1.62. Diptera was the dominant taxa group at all sampling sites in respect to both abundance and diversity. The values of SI indices were similar at all localities: the Duboki Potok and the Bela Reka (2.31) and the Pariguz (2.45). BMWP Score varied from 33 at the Duboki Potok to 89 at the Bela Reka while ASPT value ranged from 4.1 at the Duboki Potok to 5.0 at the Pariguz. Overall, ecological status in reservoirs was significantly improved in comparison to results from 2012. In 2012 the ecological status of the reservoirs was generally poor (class IV), while in 2015 results showed significant improvement (class II) based on the analysis of benthic macroinvertebrate assemblages.

AB - Aim: This study provides data about the freshwater gastropods of the Danube wetland area Dubova
ki
Rit (1082 1085 river km), aiming to contribute to the knowledge of this taxa group, its assemblage
composition and species abundances.
Materials and Methods: The study of freshwater gastropods was performed in the Dubova
ki Rit at the
left bank of the Danube River. Sampling was performed in 2010, 201l and 2014, four times per year
using benthological hand net and a Van Veen type of grab. The yotal number of taxa, species
composition and abundance were calculated using the ASTERICS software package.
Results: During the research a total of 12 species were recorded, all belonging to the Planorbidae family.
The most abundant species were Segmentina nitida (M., 1774)- 16 specimens, Physella acuta (D., 1805)
- 12 specimens, Hippeutis complanatus (, 1758) 11 specimens, Ferrissia fragilis (T., 1863) - 10
specimens and Anisus vortex (L., 1758) - 9 specimens. Other species were represented with less than 5
specimens (Gyraulus albus, G. erista, Bathyomphalus contortus, Planorbarius cormeus, Planorbis
planorbis, Acroloxus lacustris and Lymnaea stagnalis). Two species (P. acuta and F. fragilis) are nonnative
to the Danube River. At the site inavasive macrophyte Paspalum paspaloides (Michx.) forms
underwater meadows.
Conclusion: The majority of the observed species are phytophilowus taxa. Seasonal differences in
macrophyte density and community composition additionally contribute to the habitat complexity. On this
specific the habitat dominated by invasive P. paspaloides two alien species of snails were recorded.

AB - Na teritoriji Beograda površinske vode su izložene brojnim antropogenim pristiscima.
Redovnim monitoringom prati se stanje vodotokova beogradskog regiona. Ova studija
predstavlja rezultate ispitivanja šest reka u 2015. godini. Zabeleženo je 63 taksona
makrobeskičmenjaka. Grupe Mollusca i Oligochaeta dominiraju u zajednici Save i Dunava.
U Kolubari dominiraju Oligochaeta, a u Barajevskoj, Topčiderskoj reci i Turiji hironomide i
drugi insekti. Na osnovu zajednice makrobeskičmenjaka izračunati su određeni biološki
indeksi. Prema pravilniku, na osnovu ovih indeksa, Sava (III) ima bolji status od Dunava
(IV klasa). Kolubara je u granicama IV, Barajevska reka II, a Turija III klase. Najlošiji
status (V) izdvaja Topčidersku reku.
