AB  - Algološko istraživanje reke Save izvršeno je tokom septembra 2011., 2012., 2014. i 2015.
godine na pet lokaliteta. Identifikovano je 140 taksona bentosnih silikatnih algi, sa
najzastupljenijim predstavnicima rodova Navicula, Nitzschia i Gomphonema. Dijatomni
indeksi IPS i CEE, pokazuju trend smanjenja vrednosti niz tok i lošiji ekološki potencijal
vodnog tela SA_1 u odnosu na vodno telo SA_2. Istraživanja fitobentosa velikih reka u
Srbiji su u povoju, stoga je neophodan nastavak rada na razvijanju stabilnog sistema
procene ekološkog statusa/potencijala prema zakonskoj i podzakonskoj regulativi
Republike Srbije iz oblasti upravljanaja vodama, a na osnovu smernica Okvirne direktive o
vodama.

identified, with the most diverse representatives of the genera Navicula, Nitzschia and
Gomphonema. Values of diatom indices IPS and CEE had decreasing trend along the flow,
and worse ecological potential of the water body SA_1 in comparison to the water body
SA_2 was determined. Research on the phytobenthos of large rivers in Serbia are at the beginning, so it is necessary to continue the work on the development of a stable system of
ecological status/potential assessment, according to the legislation of the Republic of Serbia
in the field of water management, based on the guidelines of the WFD.

AB  - In this study, we aimed to assess the population status of bleak (Alburnus spp.) over the Western Balkan Peninsula in terms of its sustainable use. A second objective was to determine key factors important for fishery management planning. Two different basins, continental (the Danube Basin and the Sava River sub-basin) and marine (the Adriatic and the Aegean Sea Basins) were examined. A sustainability assessment and factor analysis were conducted using the adjusted ESHIPPOfishing model, extended with additional socio-economic sub-elements, and the categorical principal components analysis (CATPCA), respectively. The results of the assessment revealed the bleak populations in the Danube Basin and the Sava River sub-basin to be highly sustainable. The population characteristics with abiotic and biotic factors were responsible for this status, while the influence of socio-economic factors was insignificant. The sustainability status of the bleak populations of the Mediterranean basin varied, with the populations from Ohrid and Skadar Lakes showing a high and those from Prespa and Dojran Lakes a medium status. Socio-economic factors with traditional fishing were the most important for the Mediterranean bleak populations.

AB  - Research into the ichthyofauna of the Vlasina Lake reservoir in south Serbia, which is part of the Danube basin, was carried out in 1993, 40 years after its formation. The results of the research reveal the presence of several species of fish belonging to the Adriatic and Aegean basin, such as Alburnus albidus, Rutilus basak, Scardinius graecus and Pachychilon macedonicus. These findings are of great importance from the aspect of conservation, because the species Scardinius graecus and Alburnus albidus are on the European list of endangered fish species. In the latest study of the Vlasina Lake reservoir ichthyofauna (70 years after its formation), the above-mentioned species were not found. However, the presence of naturalized populations of two species from the Adriatic basin were confirmed: Scardinius knezevici and Alburnus scoranza. These findings represent the first known areal expansion of these species, which are new to the ichthyofauna of Serbia, from the Adriatic into the Danube (Black Sea) basin.

AB  - U našoj studiji istraživali smo promene aktivnosti enzima zaštite od oksidacionih oštećenja: ukupne superoksid-dismutaze (Uk SOD), bakar, cink sadržavajuće superoksid-dismutaze (CuZnSOD), mangan sadržavajuće superoksiddismutaze (MnSOD) i katalaze (CAT) u škrgama i mišiću slatkovodne ribe grgeča (Perca fluviatilis) kao odgovor na cvetanje cijanobakterije Aphanizomenon flos-aquae u Gružanskom jezeru. Takođe, ispitivana je koncentracija ukupnih proteina, kao i elektroforetska analiza proteina i SOD. Svi parametri određivani su tokom dva perioda, pre i za vreme cvetanja. Aktivnosti Uk SOD i MnSOD bile su niže i u škrgama i u mišiću, dok je aktivnost CuZnSOD pokazala niže vrednosti u mišiću za vreme cvetanja u odnosu na period pre cvetanja. Aktivnost CAT bila je značajno veća u oba ispitivana tkiva tokom cvetanja. U mišiću je zabeleženo statistički značajno povećanje koncentracije ukupnih proteina za vreme cvetanja, dok je elektroforetska analiza proteina ukazala na razlike u profilu proteina u škrgama i mišiću između dva ispitivana perioda. Elektroforetski profil enzima SOD pokazao je tipičan distribucioni obrazac SOD izoformi u oba tkiva. Naš rad predstavlja prvu studiju o uticaju cvetanja cijanobakterija na aktivnost enzima zaštite od oksidacionih oštećenja superoksid-dismutaze i katalaze u škrgama i mišiću slatkovodne ribe grgeča (Perca fluviatilis) iz Gružanskog jezera i ukazuje da cvetanje Aphanizomenon flos-aquae indukuje oksidacioni stres u ispitivanim tkivima. Ovo istraživanje daje osnovu za molekularno fiziološki biomonitoring uticaja cijanobakterija na različite slatkovodne organizme.
